Job Description:

  1. Assist PD in regard to Construction Management.
  2. Assisting CSCM in developing and implementing work strategies for Construction Management Department.
  3. Assisting CSCM in Controlling work performance of CM project.
  4. Cost control of Construction Management Projects
  5. Management and control of Construction Management Work to meet Quality, Safety, law and regulations.
  6. Oversee and provide approval when request for day to day QA activities, such as Document control, Inspection Check sheet, NCR, CR etc. on the project.
  7. Be a representative of Owner in work supervision of construction work to Contract specifications from beginning until end of the project. He/she may also coordinate with relevant departments including the government and private section for various purposes including construction permits to complete this assignment.
  8. Study the problem, and propose a recommendation as appropriate to the contractor / sub-contractors based on engineering practice, and professional experience.
  9. Verify an invoice issuing by the contractor and control the budget.
  10. Manage scope change by working with all partied involved including Owner, designer and the contractor.
  11. Verify proposed vendors/suppliers during construction. He/she to advise Owner if there is an equivalent material, work modification and change in engineering and/or design.
  12. Study the contract and other documents e.g. amendment of the Contract, etc.
  13. Review the monthly report before presenting to Owner.
  14. Handle construction related issues and/or any other business.
  15. Ensure staff are following all HSE policies and are suitably trained and safety conscious
  16. Assist CSCM in preparing Business Development Department for Technical documents preparation.
  17. Any other work as instructed by CSCM.

Preferred Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering.
  • Experiences: 3 - 5 years in Quality Control, Construction Management Works.
  • Other requirement:
    1. Good command of written & spoken English
    2. Computer literacy in MS office, MS project, Primavera Project Planner
    3. Knowledge in Construction Management
    4. Hard working and can meet deadlines. Be able to work independently.
    5. Leadership skills and can work well under pressure.
